Well, the school year has started up here in Vermont and Zach started right along with them! He thought he didn't have to do school, even though I kept telling him he was. Boy, wasn't he surprised when the books showed up! He actually is very excited about it, especially the science. So, we will see how home schooling goes.
Grandma, my mom, left back to California on Wednesday. It was really nice to have her here.....there's nothing like having your mom with you. We took Zach out every day to play outside, which included basketball, break the twigs with the ball, chase the ball and 3 square. Her birthday was Tuesday, so we met outside and Zach presented her with various treasures from the hospital gift shop: Halloween earrings, truffles, a Webkinz, eyeglass holders and a piece of cherry pie. We then played basketball. Unfortunately, she came down with a cold the last few days that she was here.....seems like thats what happens when you fly in airplanes.

Awesome!! We didn't realize you were such a hockey fan, Ian's middle name is Gretzky, after the great hockey player, Wayne Gretzky... Ian started school Monday, and he loves his new teacher.. today Aunt Jenna is wearing a shirt that says "I wear orange for my nephew", also for you Zach. Hang in there buddy!! we are praying for you. love Ian the Survivor and Aunt Jenna
Wow, that handwriting looks like a 2nd grader!!! We have been in school for 2 weeks now and starting to get back in the groove of things (Mom, runs all around town after work and Sawyer takes his nap while we drive to get Carson). Everyone is here is thinking about you guys and praying for you all. Mrs. Johnston is jealous that you got to meet hockey players. We will call you tomorrow. Keep up the hard work!!!
Who did you get to write your school work? That CAN'T be your handwriting...man you must have had a great kindergarten teacher-tee hee!!! I have my prayer patrol in full throttle! Thanks for the update & you are going to have to teach me about hockey, don't know much about it!
Hey you two. Just looking the website over. My computer was acting up yesterday. I tried to send you a message then. We had a day off of school today. Yea! Now we will have a short week. Per usual, we miss you and think of you often. Aunt Karen
Hello. Good to hear from you earlier. Keep us posted we like to hear what is going on. I am sure it is getting to be a very long course. We have yet another hurricaine coming our way....maybe.....you better say some prayers for us!! We love you. Aunt Karen and Uncle Bob
I'm 6 years old. I just moved to Vermont. I love to play video games, watch spongebob, ride jet ski's and fish. My favorite food is McDonalds double cheeseburger. My best friend is Saywer. I have leukemia so will be in the hospital for a while, but things will be back to normal in no time.
